Main entrance: corner of College & William Streets

The Australian Museum's main entrance is located on the corner of College Street and William Street in central Sydney, just across the road from Hyde Park and opposite St Mary’s Cathedral.

There are ramps throughout the museum and two lifts to take you between levels, or take the central staircase to all floors with a stunning view to St Mary's Cathedral. All doors are automatic and the map covers key features such as accessible areas and stairs.

Discover below the location of galleries and visitor facilities, including our family friendly café, the Billabong Waterhole, next to Burra on level 2.
